My name is Dr. Elena Merenda, and I am the owner and sole practitioner at Children’s Healing Studio Ltd. With over 15 years of experience in early learning and therapeutic settings, my expertise lies in early childhood education, therapeutic play, and supporting families with children who face various challenges, including special needs, terminal illness, grief, and diagnosed disabilities.

 

While my initial focus was on grief support—a deeply personal mission stemming from my own experience of losing my father at sixteen—Children’s Healing Studio Ltd. has since evolved in response to the changing needs of children and families in today’s world. My father’s battle with Lymphoma and the lack of emotional support I received during that time inspired me to create a space where no child would feel alone, alienated, or unsupported in their time of need.

 

Today, Children’s Healing Studio Ltd. offers a broad range of services beyond grief support. We provide individualized programs designed to support children’s social and emotional development, including therapeutic play, early intervention for children with disabilities, and comprehensive family coaching. Our services are tailored to help children navigate difficult life transitions, manage their emotions and behaviours, and build resilience in the face of adversity.
