Free Christmas Event

Join me in this free event to make a special blanket for a little boy in need of a magical Christmas. The kids will make him a special keepsake blanket, they will eat Christmas treats and make a tree ornament to take home for themselves. This is a drop in event. You may come and go at your own leisure within the event time frame.

My son’s name is Michelangelo and he is 12 years old and in grade 7 . He is a beautiful, sweet and loving boy .

He was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma on his upper left thigh at Sick Kids Hospital on the last day of school on June 30th, 2023.  We were in total , utter shock !

A few days later we  learned that it had already spread and metastasized to his lungs.  That was another cruel blow.

We have been in the hospital almost everyday since then for the last 4 months either for weekly/daily chemotherapy at Sick Kids Hospital and/or daily radiation therapy treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital or admitted as an inpatient at Sick Kids Hospital for fevers and blood transfusions.

Michelangelo is still currently receiving both weekly/daily Chemotherapy at Sick Kids Hospital and daily

Radiation therapy treatment at Princess  Margaret Hospital simultaneously.

While the initial chemotherapy treatment days were not successful we are now finally receiving some good news that the tumor on his leg is responding  to the radiation  therapy and shrinking and the nodules in his lungs are responding to the new chemotherapy and are also shrinking . We are so very grateful for this blessing .  🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
