About the event
Parenting today often comes with unrealistic expectations—from social media comparisons to generational pressure to be “better” than how we were raised. Many parents feel like they’re failing, even when they’re showing up with love, presence, and intention.
This workshop is a gentle invitation to let go of perfection and reframe what it means to be a “good” parent. You’ll explore the roots of guilt, learn how to recognize it in daily parenting moments, and walk away with permission to care for yourself while still caring deeply for your child.
By the end of this workshop, parents will:
Understand where guilt in parenting comes from (social, cultural, personal roots)
Learn how perfectionism shows up in parenting and why it’s harmful
Develop self-compassion tools to challenge guilt and reframe “good enough” parenting
