This is a two part series, geared for children ages 4-7.
Series dates are February 3 & 10, 2024 10:30 am- 12:00 pm
Guided by an experience Child Life Specialist, children will engage in medical play and expressive arts, fostering a positive understanding of healthcare experiences. By promoting a proactive approach and building a foundation for health awareness children will take home essential strategies for coping with common healthcare encounters such as routine checkups, vaccines and so much more. The first day of the workshop will allow children to step into the shoes of doctors and nurses, using real and pretend medical supplies to assess and treat their patients - teddy bears.
